Question 9

What does the 90-day repair warranty cover?

Accepted Answer

The warranty covers faults with replacement parts supplied by T&G Repairs and problems caused by the workmanship of the original repair. If the fault is covered, we will inspect your device and repair or replace the affected part at no additional charge.

Question 10

What types of faults are covered by the warranty?

Accepted Answer

Examples of faults that may be covered include: a replacement screen developing flickering or abnormal lines; touch functionality becoming unresponsive due to a fault with the replacement screen; a replacement screen or other part failing during normal use; or a fault caused by the installation or workmanship of the original T&G Repairs repair.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by a subsequent repair, modification or attempted repair carried out by another person or company.

Question 16

What parts do you use?

Accepted Answer

We offer customers a range of repair options to suit different budgets. This includes genuine original parts for devices such as Apple iPhones, Samsung phones, and Google Pixel devices, including screens, batteries, charging ports, and other components.

Around 90% of the parts we use are genuine parts supplied by, or sourced from authorised supply channels for, the respective manufacturer. However, the exact part used will depend on the repair, availability, and your budget.

Where appropriate, we can also offer more affordable compatible aftermarket parts. We will always explain the available options, including the differences in quality, warranty, and price, before carrying out the repair, so you can choose the option that is right for you.

We believe in being transparent - we will never present a compatible or budget part as a genuine manufacturer part.

Question 17

Will my repair void my manufacturer warranty?

Accepted Answer

Third-party repairs can affect your manufacturer warranty. However, if your device is out of warranty or the manufacturer repair cost is prohibitive, we offer a cost-effective alternative with our own 90-day guarantee.

Question 18

What should I do if I have a problem after my repair?

Accepted Answer

If you experience a problem with your device within 90 days of your repair, contact T&G Repairs. We will inspect the device to determine whether the fault is related to the replacement part or the workmanship of the original repair. If the fault is covered by the warranty, we will repair or replace the affected part at no additional charge.
